Baltimore.
When you left, my life changed,
In ways I never tho’t it would,
Knowing now, I’d beg you to stay,
‘Cos now I know I should,
But without you here,
It’s ever clear,
I don’t believe you could,
O’, Baltimore is less,
Without your face around,
I may as well drive to D.C.,
Than to hang around this town,
O’, nothing’s like it used to be,
Like you and I before,
And I don’t think I want,
To stay in Baltimore... anymore,
O’, the lights of the big city,
Shine on memories in my soul,
Everywhere I look you’re standing there,
In the happiness I hold,
A teardrop falls,
To say it all,
I should have never let you go,
O’, Baltimore is less,
Without your face around,
I may as well drive to D.C.,
Than to hang around this town,
O’, nothing’s like it used to be,
Like you and I before,
And I don’t think I want,
To stay in Baltimore... anymore,
O’, I remember when you asked me,
If I wanted you to stay,
I didn’t have the right answer,
‘Til the wrong one sent you away,
What a fool I was,
In the school of love,
Learning lessons far too late,
O’, Baltimore is less,
Without your face around,
I may as well drive to D.C.,
Than to hang around this town,
O’, nothing’s like it used to be,
Like you and I before,
And I don’t think I want,
To stay in Baltimore... anymore,
O’, Baltimore... nevermore.
